    Something is wrong with my trackpoint center button

    I don't know why, but it just stopped working well..It works for some sites, but then it stops working, and it won't work on either my browser or word processor, and I don't know why!! :(

    Help? :D

    To clarify, it is the scrolling function that is not working.

    I know the scroll function does not work for me when scrolling over flash plug-ins, iTunes, and in some programs like power manager. Most websites viewed through Firefox have zero issues.

    Also, be careful that you haven't uninstalled the driver or turned off the scroll function.

    Control Panel< Mouse Properties< UltraNav Tab
    or Fn+F8< Manage Settings <UltraNav Tab

    then Trackpoint Settings and select scrolling function

    I haven't uninstalled the driver, and I checked the settings and I haven't turned off the scroll function. It's working a little better now, but I have to press the center button like three times, before I did it once and it did it..it was also a lot smoother before...

    Well if you have messed with the software and uninstalled and reinstalled the driver and think it is a hardware related issue, give lenovo a call.
