Something to note about the new Ideapad U330

I thought this was interesting and hadn't noticed anyone else post it.

According to the Lenovo site, the two current models of the U330 available both come with the "Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor P7350 ( 2GHz 667MHz 1MB )"

Here is the link to Lenovo's website

If you go to Intel's website, however, they list the P7350 as 2.0 GHz 1066 MHz and 3 mb L2 cache.

    Intel's information link is here

    So, the question is...

Did Lenovo underclock the CPU or is it a typo on Lenovo's part? I placed my order for this laptop back when the 15% coupon was active in the hopes that Intel was correct because, after all, it is their processor. Anyone got any info on this?

It is a typo. The Lenovo site is actually managed by a group of schoolchildren, hence the frequent errors.

No, he's right. Their website is riddled with typos just like that one.

Like for the SL300 .. the overview page says the line starts at 4.8lbs but when you click on the SL300 model it says starting from 4.6lbs ... so which is it Lenovo?! Can't be both! Sometimes I think Lenovo also posts notebook weights w/o a battery. Unfair!

Not to mention the infamous ATI HD3640 video card for T400, you guys should go look for specs in the Tabook not the website.
