    Sound Card For Express Card Slot

    I need a sound card capable of 5.1 sound for my x220, do they make a products like this? Does anyone know of one that works well with the x220?

    What kind of output are you looking (3.5mm, S/PDIF, etc.) for? What is the 5.1 a necessity for? Do you require it to be Express Card?

    oh sorry, 3.5mm, its for surround sound computer speakers (logitech 5300). If there was a usb solution that would be fine too. I'm open to anything really.

    Don't need to cross post in accessories forum. Having used the past few X-Fi solutions, IMO only the X-Fi HD is any good.

    but doesn't the creative sound blaster only have a headphone and a mic jack? Not the 3 3.5mm jacks required for 5.1?

    my one included the breakout box with the analogue 7.1 channel jacks.

    But the 3.5 mm headphone port on my expresscard adapter has a toslink.
