I will be using my W510 as the music source for my wedding reception and want to use a better connection than the headphone port, so guess that means I need to buy a soundcard. Does anyone have recommendations for one that is both:
1) compatible with the card slots on the W510, and
2) compatible with Windows 7 Pro (64 bit)
Thanks in advance!

Quality speakers on your sound system is in my opinion far more important than worrying about the headphone port or a sound card. You'll be limited if you choose to use an external sound card. If you insist on using an external card, you could try the Creative X-Fi sound card, it works via the expresscard slot.

I'm going to be plugging my computer into a PA system at a reception hall so the speaker issue is moot. What I'm most concerned with is getting a clean quality fixed line out signal from my computer that doesn't buzz from electrical interference like most notebooks do.
I'll look into the Creative X-Fi card though, thanks for the recommendation! -

It looks like the creative x-fi is a 54 expresscard and won't fit the W510. Any other ideas?

If you have some time to experiment, try the SIIG. See SIIG, Inc. : USB SoundWave 7.1 Pro - (CE-S00022-S1 )
Fry's suually has them for $29.
It's what I use, but frankly I haven't experimented a whole with it yet. -
Good luck in your search. -

I ended up buying an HRT Music Streamer II and am pretty happy with it.
