    Does anybody use a program or sound card to enhance the sound on their thinkpads?

    i use a Logitech Z-2300 external speaker and the Creative Live 24bit External sound card. or i stream the music to the Apple Express which is connected to the Logitech Z-5500

    You can use WASAPI on windows.

    But really having an external soundcard or DAC is much better usually. I use a Headamp Pico DAC/amp.
