I decided to conjure up some wallpapers using the classic "Think" logo. The wallpapers are inspired by NASA's use of Thinkpads on the International Space Station.

I do not take credit for any of the photos. They were all found using Google image search. However, I played around a bit with the images and removed some clutter before I slapped ThinkPad logos on them.

They are all 1600x900 (made to fit my soon to be T420s) but if someone wants a lower/higher resolution I will gladly upload it for you.

I also found and edited a very nice photo of Tokyo which I felt I had to include here.

If you know of other "space inspired" photos with some relation to IBM/Lenovo/Thinkpad please share them in this thread. Also, if you have any requests you can submit them here and I'll see if I can help.

    Edit:
*Switched logo from "Thinkpad" to "Think".
*Moved logo from right to left (thanks Kaso).

Nice pictures... curious why you wanted to put the Thinkpad logo on there though, haha.

Haha, well... because of the use of Thinkpads on the ISS. About the Tokyo picture I don't really know :p

This is also a 1600x900 resolution wallpaper I just created (the credits of the original photo goes to the Hubble Telescope) a few moments before. Not that I support 16:9 resolutions but that it is common nowadays (T520, T420, W520, X220, etc).

    Nice one!

However, could you please use the ImageShack forum thumbnail link rather than the full image. I find it quite annoying when images take up that much space of the forum posts.

    Thanks!

I'd recommend that you (LevSer is talking about me) resize the original photo and upload it again. The image is resized to 960x540 as a png image file and it links to the 1600x900 photo.

Another 1600x900 wallpaper I created (credits for the original photo goes to the Hubble Telescope).

Great images! However, the "Think" is positioned where the wastebasket is for many desktop arrangements. :D

Suggestion: Move it to the middle near the left edge. (Most people have gadgets on the right edge.)

This is the previous wallpaper with THINK, still the same 1600x900 resolution.

Haha :D I didn't even think of that. I haven't gotten my T420s so I'm using a Dell with WUXGA display right now. It's not possible to use 1600x900 on it so I haven't exactly tried these wallpapers out on the right form factor. :)

To those with the previous generation of Thinkpads, I present you the 1440x900 resolution of the wallpaper.
