This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Is there a site where I can enter my T61's SN to see what parts were originally installed when it was first built? This like how Dell has the service tags that show all parts.

    Use Lenovo's Parts Lookup site, here, and entire in your machine type code and serial number code (both should be on a black/white sticker on the bottom of your laptop).
