I think you can get a better price. My specs are almost the same as yours on my t61p, except I went for 3 gb ram and didnt get the finigerprint reader, and my price using the 25% off and the cpp code you can find floating around was $1212.00 including free two day delivery. I got my machine in less than a week (ordered on 3/12, got it on 3/18) and the machine is amazingly fast, with wonderful graphics. I love it.

Make sure you have applied all the discounts.

Yup I went through the website and got the 25% off and 10% March discount code. The 160gb HDD @ 7200rpm was +$60, Fingerprint reader +$20, Microsoft Onenote +$20, and with tax it comes close to $1,500 (and that was including the $80 I spent at Newegg for 4gb of RAM)

I have the 160gb 7200rpm drive on mine. I dont have the fingerprint reader or onenote. I do have 3gb ram installed at the factory by lenovo. With tax my computer came to 1314.71 including two day shipping, and i live in nyc where taxes are high. i think there is a discount that you are missing somewhere and lenovo allows you 22 days to have a price match and they will refund the difference, so make sure that you are getting the lowest price.

I think he said it was the same as mine except he got the 3gb RAM from Lenovo, and no fingerprint reader or MS Onenote

Would I be able to call and get the CPP discount added/price matched?

Does it stack with the Marchsavings or USXTRIPLESAVINGS coupon code?

Some have had luck getting the price matched. I tried quotes with both methods and found that the cpp discount saved me 98 dollars on the price and gave me free next-day-air shipping (which saves quite a bit on the shipping time)

So will they ask if I'm actually a contractor, and should I say "yes and give them the number" when I call to get the price match?

    Thread closed.

Do not post EPP/CPP access codes because they are not intended for the public.

Using EPP/CPP access codes without the permission of Lenovo and/or IBM employees(or people who have contracts with Lenovo) is nothing more than fraud and your order can be canceled.

    Thx
