I just ordered T61 workstation 2.2Ghz with 570M for my sister who uses maya and other professional 3D applications for work.

I really have no idea how good 570M is compared to others just by looking at official Nvidia spec and their specview graphs.

It will be great if someone could post Specviewperf 10 score for this notebook and T60 with V5200?

I was going to buy the T60 with V5200 but at the last minute, I decided to go with the new one.

btw Specviewperf 10 is used for measuring 3d professional graphic card performance. Not like 3dmark which is designed for gaming performance.

I was little bit suprised to find that there is not a single thread with specview score on the entire forum.

    Ordered T61 2.2Ghz, 4Gb Ram, 570M, 100Gb HDD and shipping on 8.23

The 570m will walk all over the v5200.

well, spec numbers are just numbers.

For example, its like I only play HL2 and want to know which card performs best. Period.

I want to really know how V5200 and 570M performs in prof. 3d apps.

Like how gamers use 3Dmark for game app performance, 3d modelers use specviewperf.

    Maybe run CineBench 9.5
It is based on Cinema 4D rendering/modeling app.
