    Speeding up lenovo n100 startup

    Hi- just got a lenovo n100 T2300e (1.66ghz) core duo processeor- 512mb ram. Apart form getting more ram, is there any other way I can speed up the startup. Have been disabling some of the startup programs via MSCONFIG- but still its so slow. My Dads Toshiba notebook Celeron proccessor- is even faster

    try uninstalling some of the bloatware that comes with your machine and also try using a software like bootvis

    try to change antivirus (especially norton) to light version eg NOD32, AVG

    remember to run disk cleanup and disk defragment too
