This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Spell Check for Internet Explorer?

    Anyone know of a spell checker that checks and highlights words as you type (like Chrome and Firefox)?

    IE Spell you have to right click to check the spelling and it doesn't highlight words. IE7 Pro does, but has a lot of other features I don't want and the spell check function isn't perfect.

    How about just using Firefox or Chrome? Both are vastly superior web browsers. And it is true, this question has nothing to do with Lenovo or even notebooks in general.

    Nothing. However, since most Lenovo notebooks are company machines and many companies don't let people install different browsers, I thought there was a better chance of getting this question answered here.
