    Stallen's Guide Trashed my T-61...

    Well I made the mistake of trying Stallen's Guide to Re-installing Vista on t61 and now My new t61 is trash...

    Recovery Discs don't work either.

    What i get for listeneng to a Internet "Techie"... :eek:

    Any more info on your problem? Any extraneous circumstances? I have a new T61 which I did a clean install on, and everything is fine. Did you back up the OEM vista key?

    Considering how many people have had success with the guide, you were probably the one to screw it up.

    Also, if you were looking for help with this post, there was probably a better way to go about it.
