Anyone want to make a sticky for Vista installs on various Lenovo/IBM laptops? So far I just installed Vista Business on my baseline C100, and EVERYTHING detected out of the box, and runs buttery smooth I might add. GMA900, 512mb of ram, and a 1.6 celeron. Seems to be a bit more refined than XP Pro on it.

My T60 will be next, and I think that there are probably others here that would be willing to post similar walk-throughs outlining how hard it was, what detected, what has problems, etc.

I don't know that there is a need for a sticky. We'll see how it goes. I installed Vista Business on my R60. It seemed to run about the same as XP with Aero on. I was only missing one driver, one of the Intel controllers. I put XP back on as I am waiting for a free firewall than is not from Microsoft before I migrate.

Do we have any clue how quick Lenovo will start selling Vista boxes? Do they normally move quick on such things? My guesses would be tomorrow (edit: I mean day after tomorrow), Feb 5th (end of current sale) or considerably later (a month).

No intention to hijack this thread as this is related, if Lenovo puts it on at the factory probably minimal issues.
