My Y400 should arrive next week.

I was torn between Y400 and Y500, but prefer 14" size, and hoping they do eventually release slot modules like extra fan, ssd, and 650M
For $770, hell even if they don't, I'm happy.

The documentation Lenovo has for resellers says the Y400 does not have the option of SLI 650m.
There is no reason why it couldn't have the extra fan or HDD mount in the ODD bay though.
(the fan seems like an amazing idea as 14" laptops can usually use any additional cooling they can get for gaming)

It looks like the Y500 requires a higher wattage power-supply than the normal shipping one, so you have to order the SLI model, or the better power supply later.

SLI means two graphic cards. So the power supply for the one-graphic-card model is too weak? How is this possible? The graphic card is less powerful than the Gtx660m on the Y580, thus it needs less power, doesn't it?

    Just ordered my y400 today.

Apparently the 650m sli slot bay is available in Asian markets. The bay comes with a beefier PSU apparently.

Hopefully the release it here soon.

In the meantime, the 650m should crank out Guild Wars 2 and BF3 at highest settings on a 720p screen no problem.
