I just "discovered" a problem with my X300's keyboard - originally I was noticing the tilda key would seem to get stuck down even when I wasn't pressing it leading to "``````````````````````" being typed sometimes. Now I found why - the tilda key seems to be super sensitive - even the slightest touch or brushing of the key causes it to be pressed. It still functions, but not properly of course.

I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem. I guess I'll try to see if I can get it replaced / fixed under warranty. Also, how long does warranty usually take?

Well, after a quick call, IBM sent me a new keyboard (to CA from PA) under warranty within one day of my call, and after installing it, my keyboard is now working perfectly :).

I'm surprised that Lenovo's customer service ratings are so low - this is the best warranty service I've ever used. I guess most of the complaints are due to the long delays for CTO models due to part shortages.
