    Strange thing on the screen of T42

    There's something weird on my IBM Thinkpad T42. Sometimes there's a one pixel on the screen that's white, black or red. It looks like a dead pixel, but it isn't because after reboot it's gone and it can appear again in some different place in different color. The most weird thing in this is that when I move the cursor over the pixel, the arrow-cursor changes to mini-scrollbar (same as that appears when you click the middle Trackpoint button).

    Has somebody else noticed this?

    How could this be fixed? Would some driver update help? I have updated all drivers with Software Installer program.

    I have never seen anything like it. According to the other board it is one of the pre-installed programs, you could try disabling them one at a time, see if that helps.
