What bluetooth mice is everyone using with their T61p machines? From what I've seen, a lot of people seem to like the Logitech BT mice. (I'm a little partial to Logitech as I love my G7 Wireless).
What is everyone using? Any particular units to stay away from?

The Logitech MX 1000 is a great Bluetooth mouse but can only be found in a keyboard+mouse combo set now

Congrats ^^^^. To stay on topic, I'm looking at the microsoft 5000 BT mouse.

Thinking about the MS Wireless Presenter (Laser 8000) but I keep seeing mixed reviews on the quality of this device.

using microsoft bluetooth mouse 5000 . Work perfect, nice small laptop mice.

the logitech v270 is the only decently cheap bt mouse that works very well. Although you cannot find it in any brick and mortar stores (not enough bt integration into laptops to justify the costs) you can find it at newegg for $36

still running on my first set of batteries on the v270 for about a month now. this is with even accidentally leaving them on numerous times and the double a batteries are included also.

I long for the day that Bluetooth mice are not colored blue because marketing people say they should be.
It's all kind of interesting, because Bluetooth was written off as failure a year ago. I think that the heardsets changed all of that. I suspect we will see a Renaissance in BT mice.
I am using the Kenisngton Pilot BT, but with only 3 buttons, who could recommend it? Is there something about BT handshaking and packet tech that prohibits the making of a proper 5-button mouse? -
Why don't you guys try this
It has a tiny receiver and it woks way better than a bluetooth mouse. -

That's what I use, Staples has a sale on that right now for 40 Bucks.

No delay from my camp also, definitely recommended.

Your call, I was considering a BT mouse but with the price and it's really non-intrusive usb receiver I opted for the VX nano.

Logitechs are the best mice I've owned. Their bluetooth notebook mice are five star products. There's a new laser one, the v470, I think, that I'm replacing my v270 with.

What about Mogo BT mouse?
Has anyone ever use it?
I'm looking to get that one. -
-
I have the Logitech V470, which is decent laser BT mouse. Its good quality and all. If you don't mind a receiver, I'd get the VX Revolution as the receiver can be stored IN the mouse oppose to underneath it.

The $20 Dell travel mouse. 5 buttons, small, and cheap on the internet. And it works with an IBM.

Every time that I have used it and let it sit idle for a minute or two, either from using the TrackPoint or whatnot and then heading back to the mouse it goes from quick standby to operation which to me I don't even notice. The top of the mouse shows a green LED indicating it's I guess in power saving mode but like I said again when I use it I don't even notice the delay.

I am torn between MS 5000 and the Logitech V470. MS 5000 has back button but V470 has the side to side scroll. Which I use them both on my G5 (desktop mouse). Option option option...
-
I would say for general web page use and what not the Back button trumps the side scroll button.

I bought the MS 5000. At first, I thought it was great. However, after a few days of use, it is a bad mouse. The reason is that the sensor is not place on the tip or side of the mouse. It is at the tail end of the mouse. I use my mouse using my fingers, not the whole palm. Therefore, if I move my mouse from side to side just by moving my wrist, the mouse pointer could sit stationary. I am going to return it and get the V470 instead.

I use a Mogo x54 Pro. This is what a real portable mouse should look like
Have in mind that you need an Express Card slot for one of these.
But it's not that comfortable and the scrolling function is a bit problematic. Not my main mouse...
Also, I have to establish a new connection with the device through Windows, everytime I shut down my computer (or put it to sleep). I may be doing something wrong though... Anyone knows if there's a way to make Windows memorize the connection? -
+1
I've got two 5000s - using one with my T61p and one with a Dell 1520. No problems.
Suggestions for a Bluetooth Mouse
