Is this laptop sleeve any good? I know it's probably a faux-IBM brand sleeve, but the logo presence is still cool. You guys know if it fits 14.1" widescreens?

That's hillarious, they list it for both 14.1" t42/43 AND 14.1" z series. Two different shapes. Closest to the 14.1 wide shape.

I'm sure it's fine for the price, but spend so much on a notebook, might as well invest a little more in a quality sleeve. I wouldn't let that cheap ibm iron-on get me. And I'm a sucker for the ibm logo. But it's just a POS neoprene sleeve man. Don't do it.

(i've been using neoprene sleeves for my past two, and am taking my own advice and upgrading this time around).

If it's a not a widescreen sleeve it won't work. Too small. I agree with Leon, not worth the risk.

But isn't a sleeve for a Thinkpad somewhat redundant?

That's what I thought too when I went neoprene.

This time around I'm investing in a quality sleeve.

(though it may have been karma for subjecting my thinkpad to living in a VAIO sleeve!)
