    Hi.

I'm considering buying a T420 and would like to confirm whether I can expect surround sound to be sent to my receiver through HDMI or if it is only a mixed down stereo signal.

My sources are mainly DVDrips, BRRips etc with DTS and DD5 which I play through software like VLC and ZoomPlayer.

I've previously used machines with DVI and S/Pdif and then there has been no problem.
