You'll need an AmEx card and a Facebook account in order to get this to work.

    1. Link your card to Amex on FB using this link:
    https://www.facebook.com/americanexpress?v=app_216352075054740
    2. Click on show more promotions, look for Lenovo $150 back on $999 or more and add to promotion account
    3. Add Y470 on sale for $929 to cart plus any combination of other products/services for a total of at least $181. The total needs to be $1,110 or more. I added 3-year warranty and an extra battery for a total of $1,110.39.
    4. Apply coupon FATWALLET10C for 10% off. Post coupon total must be 999 or more
    5. Pre-tax shipped cost is ~$999. $150 statement credit is generally issued within 2-3 business days of qualifying purchase.

OPTIONAL: Before all of the above create a fatwallet account if you do not already have one and click through to Lenovo via Fatwallet for an additional 3-4% cashback.

Final pre-tax cost for me was ~$815. Savings = more money left over for a bigger SSD drive.
