My T400 laptop's display goes blank for 2,3 sec when I do the switching between the Energy Saver and High Performance graphics. Is it normal?
Also when I operate on batteries alone Laptop performance is too slow ..it is T9600 with 2.9 Ghz machine . I wonder what's going on. I already had sent it for repair to EasyServ for display going grey/blank.
Please let me know what the trouble is?

    Thanks for any information.

    1) it is normal for display to go blank for a moment between gpu's

    2) configure your power manager so performance on battery is more similar to on mains. you can even have it the same. cost is in battery life. it is a matter of trade-offs - performance versus battery life. the defaults for battery mode favour battery life.
