I bought a T61 in June and got the Verizon WWAN installed. I recently switched to an ATT account (iPhone). I want to order the ATT3G WWAN internal card from Lenovo (part # 43R9152), so I can consolidate all my accounts with ATT. Does anyone know if this card can be installed? I did not know if the antennas were integrated into the notebook's casing or not, or if they are smaller pieces that can be user-installed in the notebook, and/or how difficult that is. I know that currently the Verizon mini-PCI card connects to wire leads that go to antennas for the CDMA-Verizon card.

Wouldn't it be easier just to buy an external card that plugs into your express card slot or usb or something?

First, my condolences on buying the worst phone I have ever seen. (Don't ask me why, just search google)

You should be able to just swap them. With the T400, they are even offering you to get it "WWAN" ready, which means that you can add either card later on.
