I just bought a refurbished T61 (Windows XP Professional) from the Lenovo outlet and booted it up for the first time. The System Prep Tool 2.0 popped up and gave 3 options:
1. Skip windows Welcome or Mini-Setup and configure the installation as scripted in Winbom.ini. click FACTORY
2. Reboot computer and manually test the installation, click AUDIT (availabe only in Factory mode).
3. Prepare the computer for the end user, click RESEAL
Which one should I choose? Did they forget to complete a step in the factory??
Thank you!

I'd say they definately forgot. I'd press #3. it packages it all up for you for use the first time. Did they give you any discs with it, because if it doesn't work, you may need to install windows yourself.

No discs. Thank you for your quick response!

Yes... I'd say they did forget some things.

How'd you end up coming out on this?
