What do the log-files say? Maybe the update-servers are temporarily unavailable?

wobble987, I actually got the exact same error message awhile ago before I even saw your post. I ran System Update 3.14 for WinXP twice and I got that message. I thought my installation was corrupt so I reinstalled TVSU and rebooted. Now instead of the first error message I get another saying the update servers are unavailable.

I got the same message when trying to update my old T60 with a fresh factory OS reset. Tried a couple of times and gave up.
