I get the following error from system update:

Error 92 received from the Package Index Server. Please contact the Support Center.

Anyone experience this... Do I really need to call them or is this simply a server issue?

I'm getting lots of errors too. They're obviously having issues/working on things. I'm waiting a while till everything simmers down.

I haven't seen this error before, usually I see an error that says wait a while and try again later. This one prompted contacting support, so I wondered if this was happening widespread or if I had an issue. Have you had the Error 92 or were your different?

    On my R60/Vista w/SP1, I tried:-

    Uninstalling some Windows Updates (failed)
    Modified registry (failed)
    Uninstalled TVSU

RE-INSTALLED VISTA (from scratch - failed).

    What fixed it? (for me)

Turned off (via the switch) the wireless.

TVSU IMMEDIATELY worked - no reboot needed!

    Hooray!

Stop using System Update. Download drivers directly from the Lenovo website.

But how can you easily determine which drivers need updating?
