System Update broke my blue key's use :(

Small but annoying issue yesterday. Did a system update for the Thinkvantage Software and after that (a number of things updated) the Blue Thinkvantage button no longer launches Productivity center. The software will launch from Start Menu so not a big deal, the blue button still works at boot for recovery purposes. Tried reloading Productivity center and Hotkey Features Setup drivers (as Lenovo recommended) but no luck. Not a big deal but slightly annoying, I should have just installed individually. Any help appreciated.
New R61 with XP Pro.

Bit better description here, I posted this on Lenovo support forums but no real solutions yet. Be careful with system updates and do 1 at a time with restore point prior!

Hi. Got a new R61 with XP Pro last week. Did Systems Update and updated essentially all Thinkvantage stuff (mistake in hindsight). After this my Fn + F3,F7,F8,F9 keys and Thinkvantage keys no longer do anything though all the apps like Presentation Manager or Productivity Center still work if launched directly from Start menu. No luck with reinstalling Hotkey drivers. Not a big deal but annoying, from searches not a unique problem - ( http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?t=58827&sid=d4ca480355a8a4ed7cab9211d7f13b94) wonder if anyone can help. In future will be careful with updates.
