This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Any update on when the official System Update tool will be released/available for Windows 7? I heard some talks a while ago that this was under development. thanks

    Are you talking about the Thinkvantage update program? If so I think it would be better not to use it and update stuff yourself.

    I did install it though on x64 Win7 and it worked. Now whether the things it downloads are what you want...well that's different.

    System Update assumes you're Vista.
