    Hi,

My T61 is just 10 days old, but I see a bunch of critical/recommended/optional updates when Thinkvantage System Update utility runs.

Is it good to install all these updates, or only critical & recommended ones?

Being a Thinkpad newbie I want to make sure that those updates won’t screw up my system since there are few driver(s) updates too.

    Please advice.

    Thanks,
    Cnu

Yeah go ahead. Even though it's 10 days old it probably has a 60 day old install image.

    Greg.

    Greg,

Thanks a lot for such a quick response. BTW, when I created recovery dics, it created 1 CD and 1 DVD, is that all, or did I miss any step?

    Thanks again,
    Cnu

That seems like the right amount of discs.
