I've been doing some googling around and there are extremely mixed answers on this thought, so before I go ahead, I want to get some advice from you guys:

I'm doing a clean reinstall of Windows 7. I plan to delete the Lenovo recovery drive and format the Windows7_OS 287.2 GB partition of course. However there is still SYSTEM_DRV, totaling 1.2 GB and it's a System partition.

I can salvage not having 1.2 GB but I read one source saying there would be problems with System_Drv still installed on a fresh copy of Windows 7. I'm basically asking: What are the pros/cons of keeping SYSTEM_DRV with a fresh install and what are the pros/cons of deleting SYSTEM_DRV with a fresh install?

SOLUTION: Read some more into it and I'm just gonna delete it.
