    of course once I decide to get a T500 the coupons disappear. Any thoughts? This is a purchase for business so they aren't going to want me to wait forever as I don't either. My budget dictates I get the price down closer to $1K which is imposable with my configuration.

    One option is the refurbish I guess.

    Was looking at an E6400 and of course you can get a discount at any time via negotiation.

    Saw it came up. Problem is I need at least 20%. Perhaps it will follow after the 5th with the new year. $1454 need to get to $1,1XX.
