This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Does anyone know the difference (if any) between the older T/R Series High Capacity battery (08K8197) and the new one (92P1102)? IBM no longer is selling the older model on its site so I am trying to determine whether or not it is worth paying the extra $ for the newer one. If anyone has any input I would appreciate it.
