    Hi,

I found this thread on the differences between the T & R series, and was wondering if anything else was different?
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=128601

I was looking at picking up a decked out T61, but after viewing the offerings for the R500, am starting to reconsider, as it seems you get a bit more bang for the buck? What's the general consensus?

I'm primarily looking to pick this up for my programming and general usage (mild photo/graphics work), no games.

Further, for my own curiosities, what are the primary differences between the Intel C2D P & T processors. Google has failed to give me any clear differentiation between the two.

    Thanks!
