Is this a good deal for the specs? To me it seems like it, but I feel like I'm missing something. I'm wondering because I wasn't able to find this exact model on the Ibm/lenovo site, so maybe it's outdated or something?

    Anyway here's the specs:
    IBM ThinkPad T43 2669,
    Pentium M 760 2 GHz,
    Microsoft Windows XP Professional,
    RAM 512 MB,
    HD 80 GB,
    CD-RW/DVD,
    56k Modem,
    LAN EN,
    Fast EN,
    Gigabit EN,
    802.11b, 802.11a, 802.11g,
    Centrino,
    14.1" TFT SXGA+ (1400 x 1050)

edit: just realized i forgot to post the price (idiot!!) XD

    $1,612.50

that price does not seem right for those specs, cuz I recently customized and purchased a T43 (or at least the purchase order should be going through shortly if not already), and the unit was ~1900-2000

What site are you getting this price & configuration from?

interesting. the best I can get is 1719 using your configuration. But I'd bet its because I have chosen a different motherboard / chassis, and it also has the fingerprint reader standard. I was using the Notebook Finder so I could get exactly what I wanted. Model is 2686NAU, tho I'll have to wait forever to get it.

I listed 1900-2000 before cuz that included only 256MB RAM (getting 2GB from Newegg), but instead, a DVD burner and extra battery (9 cell). Actually, the price *before* 3yr PC protection is $1861.
