    T21 Ram and Hard Drive question..

    What kind of ram would I need to upgrade, it only supports 512mb. Also what size is the hard drive and where could I find both of these? Thanks.

    I believe that it would use PC100 144-pin SODIMMs, but correct me if I'm wrong.

    Newegg (click link) has several sticks, but since it's out of production it's going to cost you quite a bit.

    Do you kinow how to go to lenovo website and get the hardware maintenance manual?

    you will need the product number from the bottom of the laptop to enter in the box (the product number will take the form of 2668-KHU or something similar) . Then choose users guides and manuals, then hardware maintenance manual. It will be a moderately sized pdf file (3Mb), but it will tell you everything you ever wanted to know about every version of the T21 made (they are not all the same). Look for your model in there and see what yours needs.

    The T21 should take pc100.
    And should take any PATA hard drive
