    Are Thinkpad T22's anygood?
    What's the max ram;that they'll hold?
Is the hard drive upgradable to a 60GB or 80GB (5400rpm)Hard Drive?

    It'll be only for:1.)Instant Messaging
    2.)Email
    3.)Web Browsing
    4.)CD-Burning
    5.)Word Processing

    Thanks,Clint

They were some of the best notebooks ever made. It will work fine for those things. Yes it is possible to upgrade the hard drive. I put a 7200RPM in a T22.

I noticed that the max ram is only 512MB
So,I guess going with the very best 512MB would help performance?
I was really wanting about 1GB of ram
I may have to go find a cheap T23 instead

T23s max ram is 1GB probably a few more bucks though.
