    Hi again to all,
The title may sound like a four old!
I need to suggest one of my fren, who needs a laptop for basically word processing and powerpoint presentation and may be some stuff not really very power demanding! In my view a IBM certified refurbished T23 (~$450) (IBM fanatic of course) would be much better option instead of buying some brand new LENOVO models for an added~$1000, which again is in verge of curse from a dual core!
I could have suggested a brand new Intel cleleron or Semperon, for few hundred more, but I think T23 will overdo them in stability and performance.
Please suggest me if I am going to be cursed by my fren in few months, or this suggestion would be useful for her! :buyIBM:
The other main feature she needs is CDRW and wireless and they are avaailabel in the chosen model (wireless is 802.11b only though)

    Thanks

The R series are good machines. Plus you'll get a warranty.
