I bought a wireless/modem combo mini pci card for my T23, but the signal really sucks. I am thinking about buying a Cisco® Aironet® 802.11b Wireless LAN Mini PCI card for my T23, but don't know if it will work. IBM says it's for T30 and other models. Has anyone tried using the Cisco card with a T23 and has it worked?

I have some crappy Actiontec Electronics Mini PCI card in my T23 notebook and it works just fine, so I'd think a better known name brand would be okay. Can't give specific yes/no though.

I think I know what's wrong. I don't have an antenna built into this notebook. Did some research and if you ordered a t23 without built in wireless, then IBM doesn't include the antenna. Tried looking for it on IBM website, but I didn't find it. Will call them tomorrow. If anyone knows where I can purchase the antenna that would help out a lot.
