    Why only 3? I know I can always buy more myself, but its alot more expensive than they do it.

    You can pick 4 if you also pick a 64bit OS. I guess they didn't want people buying 4 with a 32bit OS and complaining that the extra gig doesn't show up.

    TheSpoon is right, 3 is as much as 32 bit OS can see any way.

    You can also tack on the RAM if you call them or email a rep.
    Do note that I was informed that the RAM will be out of stock for a few weeks at least so you may have luck ordering it somewhere.
    The part number for the 2GB is 43R1988.

    who the heck is spreading FUD? Any _real_ 32bit OS can see upto 4GB RAM.

    Can you really email them to modify an order? I tried calling but got the run around (i.e. nowhere). Unfortunetaly, I didn't do my research and thought that I could buy more RAM cheaper somewhere else.
