I'm about to preorder this game, but I don't know if my laptop can handle it (well). Here are the stats.

    Lenovo T400
    Windows 7 (64 bit)
    Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T9600 2.8 Ghz
    4gb RAM
ATI Radeon HD 3400 series (256mb? I think)

The thing that worries me is the gfx card. I know Starcraft II is graphic intensive, but I want to know what I'm getting into. Does anyone have experience with the Starcraft II beta on a T400?

Depends what level of settings you want to play. It will definitely play the game. I play SC2 on x4500 intel graphics with everything turned down to the lowest, so you certainly can play.

Cant you pre-order, play the beta, then cancel the pre-order if youre unsatisfied?

I know gamestop gives out beta keys for pre-ordering... not sure what their policy on cancelling the pre-order is though.

I highly doubt that and I thought they ran out. There are certainly other ways to get access to playing the game that aren't tied to battlenet if you want to just test it...
