I've had my T400 since Monday and absolutely enjoy everything about it. I almost have it adjusted the way I want it, but I can't find out how to turn off the loud beep that occurs whenever it is unplugged/plugged. It also makes the same beep when going to sleep and waking up from sleep. It's pretty loud and I do not want to annoy people when I am in public. This may be simple to do, but this is my first Thinkpad and my first sytem with Vista.

    1. I can't find any options in the power manager that control this.

    2. I have turned off Vista sounds.

Any help/suggestions will be greatly appreciated :D

It should be in the bios. My x200 did the same thing.
