I just got a new T400 after having numerous problems with my T61 that's 2 years old. Believe it or not, the same problem that started with my T61 a few weeks ago just started with this new T400. The power chord just started acting up, and it won't connect properly or something. It's as if it's just not making a connection, and I have to twist it around to get it to connect, but if I move the laptop an inch while connecting, it'll disconnect.

This is EXACTLY what started with my T60 just a few weeks ago, and it just started with this new T400. cannot be a coincidence, something's up with Lenovo quality control or something.

Anyone else have these issues? I'm wondering (hoping) it's a defective power cord and NOT the computer itself, bc I'm sick of sending computers in.

    Any ideas?

Well it sounds like a non-computer problem. Like the plug for instance?
