I heard some rumors that T400 flexy keyboard was not water-resistant.

If I switch to T61 keyboard, is it water-resistant or not?

Don't dare to have a test myself :D

No, all Thinkpad keyboards have the drainage holes to divert water away from your computer internals. Haven't heard of any keyboard being more "water resistant" than another.

the T400 and T61 keyboards are identical in their ability to drain liquids.

for clarification on what MidnightSun said above, the X100e and Edge have spill-resistant keyboards but no drain holes.

I have tried my spill resistant keyboard on my x200 and it functions as intended. I tried it with the system turned off and the battery removed. I put the laptop over the sink turned on the faucet.

I of course let me system try out for long time and didn't use it for another day :p.
