hey all. i tried running my T400 in AHCI mode.

to my great surprise, i used about 3-4 more watts at idle with AHCI on. ????

other things i noticed was that going into hibernation was much faster in AHCI mode, and in general performance on other tasks seemed slightly better in compatibility.

i was really surprised that AHCI mode caused greater power consumption. let me know if you guys see similar results, or if it was just a fluke!
