Using original Lenovo Switchable graphics drivers, I can get my Powerpoint 2003 presentations to work in slideshow mode without black borders on the sides using the Intel driver part. But, when using the ATI part, the black borders appear on both sides of the slides when in slideshow mode. I have tried setting Aspect of display in CCC to both Full screen and the other options but still black borders.

Has anyone discovered how this can be changed to have no borders in slideshow? On my Sony FW lkaptop with ATI 3470 driver, there are no borders. Thanks again for help.

Check your settings in the cataylist control center. It is probably set to preserve the aspect ratio instead of stretching the image. I happen to prefer maintaining the proper aspect ratio, but choose what you like.
