This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     T400 ATI3400 Driver on dual system(XP_SP3/Vista_SP1)

    My T400 has dual system
    Windows XP/sp3 32-bit
    and
    Vista Ultimate /sp1 64-bit

    I followed the guide post here to install the ati 3400 driver
    It worked great on each single system.

    On XP, It has ati driver only (didn't try to install intel's, I never want to use it anyway)

    On Vista, It has both, and switchable driver works.

    but the problem is everytime that I restarts computer and chose another system rather than the one I last logged in, the system doesn't recognize the ati video card untill I restart it again.

    Does anyone here have the same problem? How you guys solved this?
