Hello, and good day,
I use an old but usefull T400 laptop ( 6475-PP9 ).
It runs on Win XP pro SP3. I wanted to update the BIOS... Bad idea.
Now i had an error.
I have a DSERR_NODRIVER message when starting app.
I did not success in installing drivers.
Does anyone have an idea ?
It works fine on an other HDD with Win 7. But i need Win XP.

Do yourself a big favor and dump Windows XP. If you absolutely must run this insecure legacy OS, install it in a virtual machine under Windows 7.

Hello,
I Need Windows XP as an installed OS, with a particular version of JAVA ( 6 ), and no internet access.
It can not work on virtual machine. It is for professionnal use, and it must run on an old laptop with firewire and audio.
That's why i use this like that.
No other solution.
But actualy, it's after a bios update, that my hardware audio did not works.
Please, if you have any idea, i will take !
Thanks for help.

If the system was working fine before the BIOS update you can downgrade to the previous BIOS. I highly recommend doing this using the Bootable CD method, visit the driver page here and scroll near the bottom where you can download the older ISO's.
Burn it to a blank CD and run it on startup (press F12 when the ThinkPad logo appears for boot options). Make sure the system has a working battery and is plugged in to the mains before proceeding.BinkNR likes this.
