I am having problems installing bluetooth on my t400 on windows vista fresh install. Here's the error I get after installing Thinkpad bluetooth with enhanced data rate software.
    Code:

Any clue what could be wrong? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling bluetooth device and thinkpad bluetooth driver.

    thanks

    try the other driver
or if you saved the SW folder from the OEM vista

Do you have bluetooth enabled or disabled while trying to install the drivers?

It it's enabled, try disabling it in Device Manager, install the drivers, reboot and renable it.

Thanks Keltix and Janko10, I figured out the problem. Microsoft's Bluetooth stack was interfering with thinkpad bluetooth since I had my N82 paired with it. Once I removed it from bluetooth devices install went without problems.

    thanks
