I'm using a 7417-TUU with 90W adapter, charge thresholds are set at 35% and 95%.

When the 6 cell battery is 65% and the notebook is connected to the AC, it charges even though the charge is within the thresholds.

    Anyone knows what's going on?

Try setting it back to full charge. Then unplug your AC, then create your thresholds again. Then plug AC back in.
