    Hi! I was just wondering if there are any tutorials for cleaning inside of the T400. My laptop is about 6 months old and I am concerned about the dust build up on the fan and heat sinks. I heard spraying air can be bad for the fan even though I did it about 3 months ago. I live a dorm and things are not cleanest, so that's why I am kind of concerned. My T400 cost me a fortune so I don't really want to wreak it. Pictures on internet of the laptop open seem slightly confusing as it seems like the keyboard pops out???

    Any help you can provide would be much appreciated!

    Spraying the heatsink with compressed air is okay, as long as you hold down the fan blade whilst you are doing it. ALso you may want to use some cotton tips with little bit of water or other suitable cleaning fluids to clean the dusts off your fan blades.

    If you take off the heatsink you will void of your laptop warranty.
