    Hi all,

I am a brand new T400 owner (with a limited amount of tech savvy) so thanks in advance for your understanding.

My first attempt at fixing the settings was just to go through the "color correction" function in Graphics Properties and adjust the RGB levels. The gold standard on this board though seems to be the profile uploaded by shinew ( http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=291679&page=7)

I suppose I have two questions:
    1) Should there be any issues running this profile on Windows 7? and

    2) Has anyone ever adjusted color control in Video Settings, also under the color correction tab and found this to make a positive difference?

My main graphics needs are some light photoshop work and DVD viewing.. nothing too crazy.

(If anyone has the additional inclination to explain it, I am also curious as to how loading a color profile is different from just changing the settings manually. Are there other variables that get changed with this?)

Any advice/pointers on how to make the display better appreciated. ty :)
